Get Windows 8 start screen using Pulmon




On Microsoft's official video about Building Windows 8, Windows 8 will feature with new live tiles that will give you fast access to your running applications, or give you fast access to your media such as pictures, videos, and music.
But the bad news is, this feature is not yet available on the latest leaked version of Windows 8, which is Windows 8 Milestone 3 Build 7989. To use this feature on your PC, you have to wait for the Beta or the RTM release of Windows 8 on 2012.
So, if we could not use that feature on leaked versions of Windows 8, can we do it using a 3rd party software or use this feature in another OS? The answer is YES!  Luckily, our DeviantART friend fediaFeida has just created an awesome skin called Omnimo 4 Skin Suite for Rainmeter.  This skin suite will let you show the look a like Windows 8 start screen on your Windows XP, Vista, or 7 desktop!







HOW TO USE

1. First of all, if you do not have the Rainmeter software, donwload it now.

2. After downloading Rainmeter, download the Ominimo 4 Skin Suite

3. When done downloading, double click the Setup.rmskin file, and wait until the file extraction is done.

4. When done extracting, apply the skin, and you are ready to use the Windows 8 Start Screen on Windows 7!
