Taskbar UserTile: Get Windows 8 Taskbar User Tile In Windows XP, Vista, and 7

Today, we are going to share another tool that can make your Windows visual style to look like Windows 8. The tool that we are going to share today is created by Stealth2010 and shared by AngelWZR our DeviantART friend, is known as Taskbar UserTile. This program will let you have the same avatar on your taskbar just like Windows 8.

HOW TO USE


1. Download the file using the link below, then extract the 7Z file using 7-Zip, which you can find in our Useful Utilities page.

2. Double click the EXE file, and now you will see the user tile showing on your taskbar with the default picture.


CHANGING THE AVATAR

1. Open the config.ini file inside the programs folder.

2. Edit the Resource path according to your image location (e.g. "C:\Users\USER\Pictures\avatar.jpg").

3. Save the file, and run the software.

4. Now you will see the user tile showing on your taskbar using your custom avatar.
