Get Windows 8 Start Screen in Windows XP, Vista, and 7 Using "Another Windows 8 Start Screen"

In a few months, we have shared lots and lots of Windows 8 start screen apps for older version of Windows such as Pulmon, Omnimo 4, Newgen, and Mosaic.

Today, we are going to share another Windows 8 start screen app called Another Windows 8 Start Screen  that can really make you claim that you are using Windows 8!

Another Windows 8 Start Screen is a free and excellent start screen created by our deviantArt friend, PeterRollar. This start screen shows the actual Windows 8 Developer Preview start screen in your desktop, and you only need a tool called AveDesk in order to run it.

HOW TO USE

1. First of all you need to download a desktop tool similar to Rainmeter called AveDesk. You can download it using the following link:

2. After that, download the start screen from the following link:

3. Now install AveDesk and run the proggy one times to get rid of the intro.

4. Now copy the AveDesk.exe file to the main folder of this start screen.

5. Execute the AveDesk.exe file, and you will now see the start screen showing.

6. If not, the Control Panel of Avedesk will appear and you have to load the theme manually.

Tips

- Wallpapers with and without scrollbar included.

- The right side menu bar is not included because it is not finished.
