Windows 8 "Aero Lite" Border Skin: Get Windows 8 Aero Lite Interface And Common Tasks On Windows XP, Vista, and 7
Today, we are going to share another thing that will let you enjoy the Windows 8 sensation on Windows XP, Vista, and 7. In this article, we are sharing another excellent tool for Windows XP, Vista, and 7 users that will let you get Aero Lite Theme on their version of Windows without using a transformation pack or using a visual style! This tool is known as Windows 8 "Aero Lite" Border Skin, and it is created by our DeviantART friend PeterRollar.
The download will include
- Aero Lite Border Skin
- "shellstyle.dll" File (For Common Tasks)
- Windows 8 Start Menu for XP (ViStart)
As you can see from the screenshot above, we have tested this tool on Windows 7 and as we can see, that this tool is showing the new Windows 8 status bar, and the Aero Lite theme.
The screenshot is only showing what will happen if we use it on Windows 7. We could not show the Common Tasks feature because the feature is only available for Windows XP, and we are not currently using Windows XP as a test machine.
