WinThunder Lets You Get Quick Access to Weather, Files, Folders, Apps From Windows 7 System Tray

Today, we are going to share a freeware that is created by our DeviantART friend DanielNET that will let you get quick access to weather, favorite shortcuts, applications, websites, folders, etc. from your Windows 7 system tray called WinThunder.
SETTING THE WEATHER
First of all, before we will see the software's features, we need to do the software's most important thing, which is setting up the weather
1. Download the application using the link given below
2. Extract the ZIP file to a desired folder
3. Do a right click on the software's tray icon, and select the Application Settings option.
4. When the App Settings window has opened, navigate to Weather.
5. Type your location on the text box, and click Search.
6. If your location has been founded, click OK
7. Click on the WinThunder icon on your system tray, and you will see that your weather has been set to your current location's weather!
ADDING FAVORITE FOLDER SHORTCUTS
After setting the weather, now it is time to make WinThunder to be more fun to use by creating shortcuts of your favorite folders!
1. Run WinThunder, or if already executed before, click on the WinThunder icon on system tray
2. Then, click the Create shortcut button.
3. Now, browse the folder that you wanted to show on WinThunder. For example here, we are choosing the C:\ hard drive as a shortcut to show on WinThunder.
4. Now, you will see your shortcut showing on the WinThunder app if you click the system tray icon of WinThunder.
5. You can add more shortcuts by doing a right click on the program window and select the Create Shortcut option.
ADDING YOUR APP, FILES OR WEBSITE AS SHORTCUT
After learning of how to create a folder shortcut for the app, now it is time to make WinThunder more fun and better, by creating custom shortcuts!
1. Run WinThunder, and click on the program's system tray icon
2. Do a right click on the program window, and select Create Shortcut
3. When the Create Shortcut window has opened, start creating your shortcut. When we tested this one, we decided to use our website as the shortcut
4. If you are done creating your shortcut, click Finsih and launch the program window
5. Now you will see your shortcut has been added
OTHER OPTIONS
- You can change the program's theme by doing a right click on it's system tray icon, and navigate to Themes | (Available themes) (e.g. Themes | Windows Live)
- You can add this program to startup by doing a right click on the application's system tray icon, and navigate to Application settings | General | check the Start WinThunder on System Startup option
- Have fun with WinThunder!
