Get Windows 8 About Windows Box On Windows XP

Today, we are going to share another freeware that is created by our DeviantART friend, PeterRollar that will let you get the Windows 8 Milestone "About Windows" box on Windows XP. This software is called Win8 About Windows Box, and it is the perfect freeware for Windows XP users that wanted to enjoy more "Windows 8 sensation" on their XP computer.
As you can see from the screenshot below, the about dialog box is shown in Windows XP that has used the Windows 8 aero theme, and it has the Microsoft Confidential text on it's header and the version is also the same as Windows 8 version (Currently 7955 at the moment).

HOW TO USE

1. Download the file using the link given below, and extract the RAR file into a desired folder
2. When the files are extracted, copy the xpsp1res.dll to %windir%\System32 folder. The program called Replacer (You can find it on Google) is required to do this operation
3. When the file has successfully been replaced, restart your computer, and hit the Windows + R hotkey combination, and type winver
4. Now you will see the new dialog box showing!
