Get Windows 8 Ribbon UI On Windows XP, Vista, and 7 Explorer

On the leaked version of Windows 8, which is Windows 8 Milestone 2 Build 7955, Microsoft has leaked the new Ribbon UI (User Interface) on the Windows 8 Explorer. The Ribbon UI has the function to do something on a specified folder or on a file that you are currently pointing or opening, burn DVD or CDs, create a new folder, customize the preview of your Windows Explorer, and more. For Windows 8 users, this feature is a very great feature and they are lucky to have it!

HOW TO USE

1. Download and install the Styler toolbar first, for you who didn't have Styler installed in the first place.

2. Now download the Win 8 Ribbon UI for Styler

3. Extract the Win 8 Ribbon RAR file to a specified folder, then locate the ribbon2 folder
4. Copy the ribbon2 folder to this location C:\Program Files\Styler\TB\skins\Styler's
5. While done, open up the menu bar on Windows Explorer by clicking the Alt hotkey, and navigate to View | Toolbars | StylerToolBar
6. The program will show the styler toolbar.
7. Now click on the "Floppy" icon on the styler toolbar, and select the Ribbon UI skin by navigating to Skin | Styler's | ribbon2
8. Restart Windows Explorer and you will see the Ribbon UI showing!


TROUBLESHOOTING

The Styler application is only available for XP, and could not run on Windows Vista and Windows 7. So, in order to make Styler to run on earlier versions of Windows, do the following method

1. Navigate to the Styler's installer that you have downloaded
2. Do a right click on the program and select Properties.
3. Open the Compatibility tab, and check on the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
4. Select the "Previous version of Windows" option, and click OK.
5. Now run the installer, and you will see that Styler is now doing the installation for Windows 7.
