Explorer Toolbar Editor: Free Utility To Customize Windows 7 Command Bar
Today, we are going to share another freeware created by our DeviantART friend, hb860 that will let you add or remove buttons on the Windows 7 Command Bar called Explorer Toolbar Editor.
If you don't know what a command bar is, here is the picture.
You can only see the command bar showing when you are opening Windows Explorer.
Now, here is the preview of the tool that we are sharing today!
HOW TO USE
1. Download the utility using the link given below.
2. Extract the archive, and double click the EXE file.
3. Install the program until the process is finished.
4. Run this utility, and you can customize your command bar.
HOW TO ADD A CUSTOM BUTTON WHEN NOTHING IS SELECTED
1. Run the utility, and select the Nothing Selected tab.
2. Select the folder that you wanted to add a custom button in it (e.g Documents Library).
3. Click the Add Buttons button.
4. Now, you can select the buttons that you wanted to add (e.g. Details Pane).
5. When done adding, click the Add button.
6. Now, open up the folder that you just added some buttons in it, and you will see the new button showing.
RESTORE TO DEFAULT SETTINGS
You can restore the default settings for the command bar buttons that are showing on by running the program, and click on the Remove buttons button.
