[Tutorial] Get Windows 8 Milestone UP Button in Windows 7 Using Classic Shell

Today, we are going to share another tutorial for Windows 7 that will customize Windows 7 to look like Windows 8!

Today's tutorial will tell you of how to get the Windows 8 Milestone UP button that has been shown in leaked versions of Windows 8 in Windows 7!

REQUIREMENTS

- Classic Shell

TUTORIAL

1. Download Classic Shell from here:

2. When Classic Shell is downloaded, install it on your PC.

3. Now, download the UP Button Icon Pack here:

4. When the icon pack is downloaded, extract the RAR file and you will see the enabled and disabled UP button icons.

5. Now, let us start the tutorial by opening the Classic Explorer Settings via Start | All Programs | Classic Shell | Explorer Settings.

6. When the Explorer Settings window is opened, click the All Settings option that is located on the bottom side of the window.

7. Now open the Up Button tab.

8. Replace all of the icons with the downloaded "up icon.ico", except the icon for Disabled Up Button, use the downloaded "up black.ico".

9. Set the Up button size to 30, and click OK.

10. Restart Windows Explorer and you will see the new Up button showing.
