Windows 8 VS 1.0 : Get Windows 8 Look in Windows 7

In screenshots of Windows 8 that is shown in the Building Windows 8 blog from Microsoft, we have seen that Windows 8 has new dialog boxes with the new command buttons on top.

If you did not see it, you can see it from the following image.

If you want to get the same thing (new theme and command buttons) in Windows 7, try this theme called Windows 8 VS v1.0 created by our DeviantART friend Misaki2009.

This theme will give you the exact metro look that Windows 8 have in Windows 7.

To install this visual style, follow the following steps.

1. Download the visual style from the link given below.

2. Extract the RAR file into a desired folder.

3. Now, open the Theme folder that is inside the download package.

4. Copy the Windows 8 VS folder and the Windows 8 VS.theme file to this folder %windir%\Resources\Themes (%windir% means C:\Windows).

5. Now, right click your desktop and open Personalize.

6. Apply the theme and you are ready to go!
