How to Install Windows 8 Developer Preview Using a USB Flash Drive?

Today we are going to share another information about Windows 8 Developer Preview. On today's article, we will show you how to install Windows 8 using a USB flash drive.

Windows 8 Developer Preview can be installed on every computer that has the requirements that we need for installing. But, some PCs that also has the minimum requirements could not install Windows 8, because the PC does not contain a DVD Drive on it.

So, what do we need to do? The answer is, install it using a USB flash drive.

Yes, using a flash drive! This method is perfect for PCs without a DVD Drive and it is 100% working!

So if you want to know how to do it, follow the steps below.

1. First of all, you need to download Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool from Microsoft.

2. Then, plug in your USB flash drive. Make sure the flash drive has 4 GB space in order to put the files in.

3. Run the tool, and select the ISO file of Windows 8 Developer Preview. After selecting, click Next.

























4. Choose your media type. To install Windows 8 using a USB flash drive, click the USB device option.


























5. Now choose your USB drive that you wan to use for installing Windows 8 Developer Preview.



























6. After selecting, click on Begin copying.

7. Now the tool will format the USB drive to NTFS to make it bootable, and it will extract the ISO files of Windows 8 and it will copy them to your USB flash drive.

























8. When it is done, close the tool and unplug your USB flash drive.

9. Now restart your PC, and go to the BIOS menu.

10. Select your USB flash drive on the list, and you are ready to install Windows 8.
